Deborah Tshimena joined O’Connor and Battle as an associate attorney in 2026. Born in the Democratic Republic of Congo, Deborah emigrated to the United States as a teenager. 

Deborah earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from DePaul University where she majored in Philosophy with a minor in International Politics. Deborah spent a semester in Ireland and was an intern at the Irish Senate.

Her practice focuses on general liability and insurance defense.

Deborah attended DePaul law and was a member of the Business Law Journal.
