Alexis Carr practices municipal liability, insurance defense, commercial litigation, and general tort litigation representing the City of Chicago, Cook County, and insurance companies in complex disputes involving breach of contract, civil rights disputes, and general tort issues.
Prior to joining the firm, she worked at Robbins Schwartz where she handled complex legal issues for municipalities across the state of Illinois. Ms. Carr earned her Juris Doctor from University of Illinois, Chicago; her Masters of Arts in Psychology with a concertation in Women’s Studies from Southern Connecticut State University, and her Bachelor of Arts, magna cum laude, in psychology from Southern Connecticut State University.
Ms. Carr is an active member in the Chicago legal community as she a Co-Chair of Cook County Bar Association’s Lawyers in the Community Committee, a Co-Chair of Cook County Bar Association’s Job Fair, Board member of The American Constitution Society’s Chicago Chapter, and an active member of the Chicago Bar Association.
