Megan Dyson is an Associate with the firm. Megan is the type of attorney that seeks out opportunities to handle complex and interesting matters.  She never shies away from an opportunity to conduct the deposition of the claimant, an expert, or difficult witness.  She joined the firm after gaining extensive experience working with insurance carriers in defense of injury claims against their insureds. 

Megan is a charismatic person, and her love for the law is readily apparent. She enjoys collaborating with senior attorneys to create litigation and settlement strategies.  Further, she is particularly excited to put her skills to use in the courtroom.    

Due to her extremely strong work ethic, Megan secures opportunities to expand her skill set at a very rapid pace.  She is quite adept at arguing before the court, handling depositions, preparing pleadings, analyzing medical records, and executing the plan developed to defend the client. 

With O’Connor & Battle, Megan focuses on defense of injury claims ranging from soft tissue injuries to claims of catastrophic injury or wrongful death.  She also handles defense of trucking and automobile accident claims.  She obtained her Juris Doctor degree from University of Illinois at Chicago Law School in 2020.
