Michele Braun is an accomplished litigation and litigation management attorney with a track record of winning results at trial, arbitration and administrative hearings. She is result oriented and has earned a reputation for achieving her client’s goals. 

Prior to joining O’Connor & Battle, Ms. Braun had her own practice, Law Offices of Michele J. Braun, where she represented and counseled corporate, small business and individual clients in complex commercial, real estate/condominium, mortgage foreclosure, nursing home and insurance coverage matters. Her practice also included formulating and implementing risk management programs and internal policies and procedures for her clients. Before that, Ms. Braun was associated with both large and small firms in the Chicagoland area where she assumed first and second chair in federal and state court trials involving real estate, zoning and insurance coverage disputes, nursing home injuries, employer liability and false imprisonment. 

Ms. Braun has practiced before the Illinois Supreme Court and Appellate Courts and is published in the area of nursing home and construction litigation. She is also certified as a FINRA Dispute Resolution Arbitrator, Cook County and Lake County Arbitrator and has been a named speaker at several professional conferences and seminars.

Ms. Braun is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association, a former member of the SBAC Women in Business Committee, SHALVA Board Member and Mentor for John Marshall Law School students and recent graduates.
