VICTORY!! O’Connor & Battle is on fire!!! In her literal swan song, Mary O’Connor caught lightning in a bottle.  She secured victory on behalf of our client, a neurologist, in a medical malpractice case in which the trial court granted her the mythical DIRECTED VERDICT!  Mary brought the motion at the close of plaintiff’s case in chief and it was granted.  We recently received the news that the Appellate Court for the Second District of Illinois AFFIRMED the trial court’s decision.  Mary has recently retired and is STILL winning cases! Congratulations to Mary and the trial team.  What an incredible way to end a stellar legal career!
